PRU Wall + Piece

The idea for the Pru Wall Piece came from my urge to add some texture to my wall full of flat picture frames. How could I make something lay flush against the wall but also three-dimensional? The Pru Wall Piece is turned from solid wood on the lathe and then sliced in half and mirrored to create a piece that lays flat against the wall, but also bodies out in soft curves. This piece is fitted with hanging hardware and able to be displayed horizontally or vertically. Available in two different sizes, it can be hung as a single larger statement piece or multiple smaller pieces next to each other. My work is handcrafted from raw lumber and made-to-order, therefore it is subject to slight variation in size and material.
