Alba + Vase

The linework of the Alba Vase is both delicately and laboriously hand carved with a chisel the size of your finger. A favorite piece of mine, this vase is incredibly detailed with precise linework following the curves from the bottom to the top. The flared mouth contrasts this texture with the smooth solid wood being swallowed into the vase. The Alba Vase is handcrafted from solid wood and turned on the lathe. It is then hand carved, turned on the lathe again and finished with an eco friendly matte oil. My work is handcrafted from raw lumber and made-to-order, therefore it is subject to slight variation in size and material.
